Our ceiling mounted PIR motion sensor can detect the target area in a 360° cone. To meet the needs of different users, we provide two detection principles: infrared light and microwave. The infrared motion sensor uses PIR pyroelectric elements, which are low in cost and good in stability. The microwave motion sensor uses 24GHz millimeter wave radar, which is not affected by the environment, temperature, dust, and has a low false alarm rate.

RS-HW-N01-3-EX is a high-stability PIR motion sensor. It adopts advanced signal analysis and processing technology and has super high detection and anti-false alarm performance. When an intruder passes through the detection area, the detector will automatically detect the human activity in the area. If there is dynamic movement, an alarm will be generated. The device has 485 output and standard ModBus-RTU protocol, which can be developed again. The product is suitable for security prevention in family residential areas, real estate villas, factories, warehouses, shopping malls, office buildings and other places.

RS-WB-N01-3-EX is a high stability radar microwave detector. It detects moving targets by compression and stretching of microwaves. The infrared + microwave dual-detection sensor can measure not only the distance of moving objects, but also the speed of movement. Compared with infrared light, microwaves have a longer sensing distance and a wider angle, and can penetrate glass and thin wood. Depending on the power, it can penetrate walls of different thicknesses, and the sensing distance does not decrease with changes in temperature.

How to install motion sensor?

RS485 wiring instructions: Wide voltage power input 10~30V is OK. When wiring the 485 signal line, pay attention that the A\B lines cannot be connected in reverse, and the addresses of multiple devices on the bus cannot conflict.

Installation Instructions

1. Select a suitable location, fix the mounting base to the ceiling with screws, and then hang the detector. 2. The recommended installation height is 2.5~6m
3. The installation location should avoid being close to air conditioners, electric fans, refrigerators, ovens, and objects that can cause rapid temperature changes. At the same time, avoid direct sunlight on the detector.
4. Avoid objects blocking the detector lens to avoid affecting the detection effect

PIR motion sensor instructions

1. Connect the wires as described, and then cover the detector cover.

2. Turn on the power, the indicator light flashes, and the detector enters the self-test state.

3. After 60 seconds, the indicator light goes out, and the detector enters the normal detection state. At this moment, if someone walks in the detector coverage area, the LED indicator light is on, and the RS485 alarm output is at the same time.

4. LED ON frame skipping controls whether the LED indicator light has a prompt, which does not affect the normal operation of the detector.

Microwave sensor instructions

1. Connect the wires as described.

2. Turn on the power and wait for 20 seconds for the device to enter the normal detection state. At this moment, if someone walks in the detector coverage area, the LED alarm light will light up and the RS485 alarm will be output.

3. The flashing LED light on the back of the microwave motion sensor is the operating light and does not affect the normal operation of the sensor.
