The RS-WS-N01-6-EX temperature and humidity recorder offers two power supply options: battery power or external power supply. It features a high-quality Swiss-made temperature and humidity measurement unit, ensuring high measurement accuracy and strong anti-interference capability. To meet the diverse measurement needs of different customers, our RS485 temperature and humidity recorder provides options for a built-in probe and various external probes, suitable for monitoring requirements in different scenarios. This RS485 recorder is equipped with buttons, allowing users to manually set upper and lower limits for temperature and humidity, calibrate temperature and humidity with a password, and includes an alarm function.

Description

The RS-WS-N01-6-EX temperature and humidity recorder features a large-screen LCD display, ensuring clear visibility of readings even in dim environments. Its internal monitoring system supports real-time data recording and storage, allowing users to retrieve monitoring data at any time. Additionally, it can synchronize data with our monitoring platform software, enabling remote data monitoring. The device integrates an alarm function module (buzzer or relay) for high/low temperature and humidity alarms.
This recorder utilizes RS485 signal output with a standard MODBUS-RTU communication protocol, supporting a maximum communication distance of 2000 meters (tested). It supports the installation of a multi-unit networked temperature and humidity monitoring system with up to 254 units, making it an excellent choice for industrial-grade temperature and humidity recorder.

To facilitate on-site construction, our company provides two equipment installation methods:
1. Gourd hole installation
Insert self-tapping screws and expansion screws at fixed positions on the wall, and hang them on the gourd hole in a wall-mounted manner.
2. Wall-mounted buckle installation
Use countersunk screws on one side of the hook to install it on the wall, and use screws on the other side to install it on the equipment, and then hang the two parts together.

We provide you with a free cloud platform to view data. Our recorder also supports secondary development. You can connect to your own platform to view data.

  1. The computer has multiple COM ports, and the selected port is incorrect.
  2. The temp and humidity meter address is wrong, or there are devices with duplicate addresses (the factory default is all 1).
  3. The baud rate, check method, data bit, stop bit is wrong.
  4. The 485 bus is disconnected, or the A and B wires are reversed.
  5. If the number of temp and humidity monitors is too much or the wiring is too long, the power supply should be nearby, add 485 boosters, and add 120Ω terminal resistance.
  6. USB to 485 drivers is not installed or damaged.
  7. The temperature humidity monitor is damaged.
